The Hydraforce 5610002NC.11.5 (Material Number 5610002NC.11.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. In operation, the RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for quick response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Although this model can be used in existing and new applications, it is recommended to consider the RVD58-20 as a best-in-class alternative that offers comparable pressure and flow ratings with improved features such as better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size. However, it should be noted that the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications due to its specific design considerations.
