The Hydraforce 5610002.M50 (5610002.M50) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. In operation, the RV10-20X blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 becomes sufficient to unseat the poppet, offering fast response to load changes with low internal leakage. While suitable for existing and new applications, it is noted that the RVD58-20 is a superior relief valve alternative and can replace this model in most cases due to its better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rate. However, it should be noted that this alternative is not a drop-in replacement and assistance may be required to evaluate specific applications. The GRV10-20 version of this valve, known for its corrosion resistance, is not recommended for crossover applications.
