The Hydraforce 5610001.M37 (Material Number: 5610001.M37) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. In operation, the RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. This design allows for a fast response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits that require low internal leakage. The valve is not recommended for crossover applications and offers a corrosion-resistant version known as GRV10-20. While it can be used in existing and new applications, it is noted that the RVD58-20 model serves as a best-in-class alternative with similar pressure and flow ratings but improved response rate and pressure rise characteristics. However, it should be noted that the RVD58-20 is not a drop-in replacement due to its smaller size and different dynamic seal configuration.
