The Hydraforce 5610001.12 (5610001.12) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to function as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. It operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to displace the poppet from its seat, allowing fluid to pass through. The RV10-20X model is known for its rapid response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits and features low internal leakage, making it an efficient choice for various applications. While it serves existing and new applications effectively, the RV10-20X can be functionally replaced by the RVD58-20 in most scenarios due to its superior performance characteristics such as better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rates.
