The Hydraforce 5610000.04.9 (5610000.04.9) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic systems. Known as the RV10-20X model, this valve is intended for use with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. It functions by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for fast response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage within typical hydraulic circuits. This relief valve is suitable for existing and new applications; however, it is noted that the RVD58-20 model serves as a superior alternative in most cases due to its enhanced features such as smaller size, better pressure rise characteristics, and comparable response rate without being a direct drop-in replacement. Additionally, the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
