The Hydraforce 5606454.M40 (5606454.M40) is a precision-engineered, screw-in, cartridge-style hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. This direct-acting, spool-type valve features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber. It is specifically designed to regulate pressure in secondary circuits by allowing bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2 and regulates the pressure at port 1. In this state, it can also relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3.
