The Hydraforce 5606400.M5 (5606400.M5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. In its steady state, the PR08-32X allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while keeping the spring chamber constantly drained at port 3. When the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1.
