The valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 in both directions, with the spring chamber consistently drained at port 3. When a pre-determined pressure level is reached at either port 1 or port 2, the spring-opposed poppet is displaced from its seat to relieve pressure. This valve features non-backout adjustments that prevent the springs from becoming solid, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.
