The Hydraforce 5600449.33 (5600449.33) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. This model, known as the RV08-20X, effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. The valve features several pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustable options A, B, and C with positive stops to prevent springs from becoming solid. It offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, there is an option for bi-directional pressure capability if a bi-directional pressure seal is selected. The compact size of the valve makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. While this valve serves existing and new applications effectively, Hydraforce suggests considering their RVD58-20 model as a best-in-class alternative due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, improved response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost. Note that a VC08-2B cavity variation may be required for some applications; however, some manifolds might allow for a drop-in replacement without modification.
