The Hydraforce 5600409.28 (5600409.28) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that necessitate low internal leakage. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the spring-opposed poppet. It features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and offers a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets. The adjustment options A, B, and C come with positive stops to prevent the springs from going solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. It also includes an optional bi-directional pressure feature that requires a bi-directional pressure seal option. The compact size of the RV08-20X makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. Additionally, this product has supersession notes indicating that while it can be used in existing and new applications, the RVD58-20 is considered a best-in-class relief valve that can functionally replace this model in most applications due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, lack of dynamic seal, competitive cost, and compatibility with the VC08-2B cavity variation required for some manifolds as drop-in replacements.
