The Hydraforce 5600408.15 (Material Number: 5600408.15) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve specifically designed for lower flow circuits that require low internal leakage. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to push the spring-opposed poppet off its seat, ensuring efficient operation. The RV08-20X model features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and offers a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets. Options A, B, and C include positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve supports optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. It also offers an optional bi-directional pressure seal for applications requiring bi-directional flow capabilities. This compact hydraulic relief valve is suitable for existing and new applications; however, it's worth noting that Hydraforce's RVD58-20 is recommended as a best-in-class alternative due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost. While the VC08-2B cavity variation is required for this model, some manifolds may allow for drop-in replacement with the newer RVD58-20 model. This product is ideal for applications demanding precise pressure control with minimal leakage in compact spaces.
