The Hydraforce 5600407.M62 (5600407.M62) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. The RV08-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the spring-opposed poppet. This valve offers various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops that prevent springs from going solid. It features optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. An optional bi-directional pressure seal is available for applications requiring bi-directional pressure capabilities. The compact design of this valve makes it suitable for space-constrained applications. Note that while this valve can be used in both existing and new applications, the RVD58-20 model is recommended as a best-in-class alternative due to its comparable or superior performance characteristics, such as better pressure rise characteristics and smaller size.
