The Hydraforce 5600404.05 (5600404.05) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. The RV08-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. This valve offers various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and three adjustment options (A, B, and C) that feature positive stops to prevent the springs from going solid. It provides optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and ensures rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, there is an optional bi-directional pressure capability, which requires a bi-directional pressure seal option. The compact size of this valve makes it suitable for applications with space constraints. It should be noted that while this valve can serve in existing and new applications, Hydraforce's RVD58-20 is recommended as a superior alternative due to its better pressure rise characteristics and smaller size.
