The Hydraforce 5600404.03.5 (Material Number: 5600404.03.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require low internal leakage. This model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat, ensuring precise control of hydraulic pressures within the system. The valve features various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. It supports optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and offers rapid response to pressure changes, making it suitable for applications requiring quick adaptation to varying conditions. Additionally, the RV08-20X model offers an optional bi-directional pressure seal for enhanced versatility in diverse applications. Its compact size allows for easy integration into systems where space is limited. Although this valve has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which provides improved performance characteristics such as better pressure rise and smaller size at a competitive cost, the RV08-20X remains a reliable choice for existing applications or where compatibility with specific manifold configurations is required. It is important to note that certain manifolds may allow for a drop-in replacement with newer models; however, assistance may be needed to evaluate application-specific requirements when considering alternatives or upgrades.
