The Hydraforce 5600308.15 (5600308.15) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits where low internal leakage is crucial. This model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat, ensuring precise pressure control. It offers various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve supports optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, it can be configured with an optional bi-directional pressure seal for applications requiring bi-directional pressure management. The compact size of the RV08-20X makes it suitable for installations with space constraints. While this valve serves existing and new applications well, Hydraforce suggests considering the RVD58-20 as a superior alternative due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, improved response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost. However, note that the VC08-2B cavity variation is necessary for installation, and some manifolds may allow for a drop-in replacement without extensive modifications.
