The Hydraforce 5600303.29 (Material Number: 5600303.29) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that demand low internal leakage. This model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 surpasses the threshold needed to unseat the spring-opposed poppet. It features a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustable options A, B, and C with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, there is an option for bi-directional pressure capability with a bi-directional pressure seal option available. Its compact size makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. While this model serves existing and new applications effectively, it is worth noting that Hydraforce's RVD58-20 is suggested as a best-in-class alternative due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, improved response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, lack of dynamic seals, and competitive cost. However, using the RVD58-20 may require a VC08-2B cavity variation and some manifolds might allow for drop-in replacement after evaluation of the specific application requirements.
