The Hydraforce 5600302.06.5 (Material Number 5600302.06.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits requiring minimal internal leakage. The RV08-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat, enabling controlled pressure relief. This valve features several pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments labeled A, B, and C with positive stops to prevent springs from becoming solid. It offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, an optional bi-directional pressure seal is available for applications requiring bi-directional pressure capabilities. Its compact size makes it suitable for various installations where space might be limited. While the RV08-20X serves well in existing applications, it can often be replaced by the RVD58-20 model in new setups due to comparable performance metrics such as pressure and flow ratings, response rate, and better pressure rise characteristics in a smaller form factor. However, it's important to note that a VC08-2B cavity variation is required for installation compatibility in some manifolds; assistance may be needed to evaluate specific application requirements for drop-in replacements or new installations.
