The Hydraforce 5600301.04.4 (5600301.04.4) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. This model efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 exceeds a certain threshold, at which point the spring-opposed poppet is forced off its seat to allow flow. The valve features various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. It offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, an optional bi-directional pressure seal can be included for applications requiring bi-directional pressure handling. The compact design of the RV08-20X makes it suitable for space-constrained applications. While this model serves existing and new applications effectively, Hydraforce suggests considering their newer RVD58-20 model as it offers comparable pressure and flow ratings, a similar response rate, improved pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost advantages over the RV08-20X. For installations requiring cavity variation VC08-2B or potential drop-in replacements in some manifolds, assistance is available to evaluate specific application requirements.
