The Hydraforce 5600300.0.50 (5600300.0.50) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require low internal leakage. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat, allowing flow to pass through. It features a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, there is an optional bi-directional pressure feature available, which requires a bi-directional pressure seal option. The compact size of this valve makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. While this model has been superseded by the RVD58-20, which offers comparable or improved features such as better pressure rise characteristics and smaller size, the RV08-20X remains a reliable choice for existing applications where its specific cavity variation (VC08-2B) is required. Some manifolds may allow direct drop-in replacement with newer models; however, assistance is available for evaluating specific application needs if transitioning to alternative solutions is considered.
