The Hydraforce 5600300.04 (5600300.04) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require low internal leakage. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to force the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. It features non-backout adjustments and offers a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets. The adjustment options A, B, and C come with positive stops to prevent the springs from going solid. The valve supports optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and exhibits rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, it offers an optional bi-directional pressure capability, which requires a bi-directional pressure seal option. The compact size of this valve makes it suitable for applications with space constraints. This product has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model in new applications, which is considered best-in-class with comparable pressure and flow ratings, improved response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost. However, for existing applications where replacement or upgrading might not be immediately feasible or necessary, the RV08-20X remains a reliable choice. Note that some manifolds may allow for drop-in replacement of this model with newer alternatives like the RVD58-20 without significant modifications.
