The Hydraforce 5600203V.M220 (5600203V.M220) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. This RV08-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the spring-opposed poppet, allowing it to open. It features various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops that prevent springs from becoming solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. For applications requiring bi-directional pressure, an optional bi-directional pressure seal is available. The compact size of this valve makes it suitable for space-constrained applications. Although the RV08-20X has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model in existing and new applications due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, improved response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost, it remains a viable choice for certain scenarios.
