The Hydraforce 5600091.27.5 (RV0820X) is a highly efficient hydraulic relief valve, designed as a screw-in, cartridge style unit. This direct-acting, poppet type valve is ideal for lower flow circuits that demand minimal internal leakage. The RV0820X operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to displace the spring-opposed poppet from its seat, ensuring precise control over hydraulic pressure. This model features several adjustment options that cannot be backed out of the valve, enhancing safety and reliability. Users can choose from a variety of pressure adjustment settings, including non-adjustable factory presets and three adjustable options (A, B, and C) with positive stops to prevent spring compression issues. It offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and responds quickly to changes in pressure. Additionally, the RV0820X can be equipped with a bidirectional pressure seal option for applications requiring bidirectional pressure capabilities. Its compact design allows for easy installation in space-constrained environments. The valve also includes considerations for supersession; while it remains effective in existing applications, Hydraforce suggests evaluating the RVD5820 as an alternative due to its comparable specifications but enhanced performance features such as better pressure rise characteristics and smaller size. Overall, the Hydraforce RV0820X is engineered for robust performance in various hydraulic systems requiring reliable pressure relief and compact sizing.
