The Bosch Rexroth 4WE6H19-6X/EW230N9K4/N10 (R901113392) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed for controlling the start, stop, and direction of flow in hydraulic systems. This model features two switching positions and is equipped with two high-power solenoids that are optionally rotatable by 90 degrees. The valve operates without spring return on the control spool, meaning it does not have a defined basic position when de-energized. The robust construction includes a durable housing, electromagnets, a control spool, and return springs (except for version O). The electromagnets enable precise movement of the control spool between positions, allowing for controlled flow according to selected symbols. An auxiliary actuation feature allows manual operation of the valve even without magnet supply. For applications requiring consistent operation, this version offers soft switching behavior that minimizes switching strokes and associated acceleration values. This contributes to reduced wear and longer service life. Additionally, it is designed with porting patterns according to ISO standards and can be configured with or without a locating hole. The 4WE6H19-6X/EW230N9K4/N10 also includes an electric connection available as either a single or central connection and supports optional spool position monitoring. It complies with CE conformity requirements for electrical voltages greater than 50 VAC or 75 VDC. For added versatility, the solenoid coil comes with an UR marking according to UL standards (optional), and there's an optional approval according to CSA C22.2 No. 0-M91. It should be noted that pressure peaks in the drain line might cause unintended control spool movements in valves with detent; separate return lines or check valves are recommended to prevent this issue. Also, internal leakage inherent to this design may increase over time. When operating conditions exceed the performance limit of the valve during switching processes, the use of a throttle insert is required to maintain proper function.
